Roles and responsibilities
Provide a comprehensive spare part interchangeability records system (SPIR) to enhance availability of aged plants, as well as newly commissioned assets whilst optimizing the cash flow over the life cycle.
Assistance to the asset teams with respect to identifying/sourcing the correct spares/service kits and equipment documentation.
Liaise with project teams to ensure delivery of up to date SPIR and Bills of Materials (BOM) that can be seamlessly incorporated into SEPCiN’s spares database.
Identify equipment categories for which the stock levels (SPIR) have to be reviewed and make input into spare parts stocking policies
Focal point for evaluating stocks that Procurement and Logistics propose to write off.
Ensure that spares are properly coded in the SAP Materials Management system and regular update of the material master through the approved change process.
Assist Asset teams and Procurement & Logistics with ensuring that buying descriptions are correct.
Assist Procurement & Logistics with acceptance inspections.
Qualification and Experience
A degree or equivalent qualification together with 5 - 10 years of broad experience across Production Operations and Maintenance or Engineering disciplines.
Work experience 5 -7 years experience
Ability to structure and execute a major change in maintenance strategy, working through a large contractor team
A good knowledge of SEPCiN key oil and gas production assets and facilities as well as their maintenance management systems.
A good knowledge of SEPCiN Project Management processes and systems, HSE, inspection, technical integrity, maintenance management systems, Project handover process to Operations
A good knowledge of SEPCiN Contracting & Procurement and Logistics & Warehousing processes and systems
Expertise in data analysis and data management.
Good understanding of the IT applications and databases in the Production and Maintenance Portfolio.
Experience in networking with Production and Maintenance as well as IT experts.
Good leadership, communication, interpersonal, networking and influencing skills.
Proven ability to deliver results through others and manage performance.
