Job Title: Studio Director
Key Duties
To direct Arise Networks programmes in both automated and traditional galleries.
To co-ordinate the planning and production of Television News output to ensure that editorial intentions are met and highest production standards maintained.
To use traditional craft and technical skills as well as new and developing technologies, to produce the highest standard of news programme
Experience
At least 3 years experience in a live TV News gallery situation.
Studio or location directing on live or recorded programmes.
Complex vision mixing.
Use of broadcast communications equipment.
Familiarity with broadcast technology, including automation & digital technologies.
Broad knowledge of national & international news & current affairs.
Awareness of editorial priorities and objectives.
Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
