The Nigerian Army invites applications from qualified candidates for the 71 Regular Recruits Intake for Tradesmen / Women and Non-Tradesmen / Women for 2014/2015 enlistment / recruitment exercise.

SUITABILITY FOR APPLICATION

• Applicants shall be of Nigerian origin by birth.
• All Applicants must attend zonal screening exercise at the designated zonal centres for their respective states.
• Non-Tradesmen & Women Applicants must be aged between 18 - 22 years by July 2014.
• Tradesmen & Women Applicants must be aged between 18 - 26 years by July 2014.
• Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.65 meters tall for male and 1.56 meters for female.
• Applicants must be free of any Criminal conviction.

Educational Requirements for entry as Non-Tradesmen/women into the Nigerian Army.

Knowledge in Urban Communication System (UCS) deployment, employment and networking. Surveillance technology. Fibre Optics Technology. Electrical technician. Computer technician. Proficiencies in French Language. Skills in CCTV installations and networking.	Possess a minimum of 4 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. One of the credits must be in English.	OND Physics, technical field or French, Pre ND, NCE technical or french, Certificates of Remedial studies (Physics, electrical electronics).  Vocational trade proficiency certificate for artisan.
3.	Nigerian Army Corps of Supply and Transport	Caterers. Drivers. Boat Operators. Boat Engineers.	Possess a minimum of 4 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. One of the credits must be in English.	Basic catering course. Valid drivers licence with 3 years experience. Basic Boat Operators /Engineering. OND or certificate from approved Institutions.
4.	Nigerian Army Medical Corps	Nursing. Lab technician. X-Ray technicians. Dental technician. Pharmacy technician. Environmental technician. Biomed technician. Medical supply. Pysiotherapy.	Possess a minimum of 4 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE /GCE /NECO/NABTEB. One of the credits must be in English.	OND /RN /RM or certificate from approved Institutions.
5.	Nigerian Army Electrical and Mechanical Engineering	Fabrication /panel beater. Vehicle mechanic. Radio /Electronic technician. Instrument Technician. Mechanical /Electronic Engineering. Refrigeration & Air-Conditioner technician. Upholsterers. Spray painting. Vulcanizing. Electro-medical technician. Boat technician. Carpentry /Woodwork. Sign Writers. Blacksmiths. The Printed forms shall be accompanied with the following documents:

1. Photocopies of Birth Certificate/Age Declaration.
2. Photocopies of academic and professional Certificates.
3. A letter of Identification signed by the identifying officer in Section F of the duly completed form (printed from this on-line portal).
4. Applicants shall be required to produce the originals of all certificates/Credentials and Electronic Voucher or Scratch Card used to apply on this on-line portal.
5. Any applicant suspected to have impersonated, manipulated or submitted false documents shall be disqualified during or after training. Such an applicant shall also be handed over to the Police for Prosecution.
6. Candidates whose pictures are not submitted electronically will not be considered for shortlisting.
7. The Nigerian Army shall not entertain any enquires in respect of applicants whose applications are rejected or failed to meet the selection criteria.
